“Successful companies create positive and engaging experiences, allowing us to be our better selves—both as their customers and as their employees. Happy, satisfied, engaged employees help build and sustain a successful business. Benefits is a major part of that strategy, and I love being part of making that experience its best.”
As a co-founder and our Chief Experience Officer (CXO), Isabelle instills Benz values and purpose into all aspects of the work we do by integrating best practices in design and user experience.
She is responsible for the overall user experience for every audience we touch—our clients, employees, prospective clients, fellow colleagues, and thought leaders throughout the benefits industry.
Before moving into her current role, Isabelle spent eight years building the business as our Creative Director and Chief Operating Officer, two roles seemingly at odds but actually a perfect combination for her talents and expertise. She built all the systems that allow us to seamlessly serve clients, from project management processes to technology infrastructure to file sharing. She also developed the structure that enabled us to grow a world-class team. The rapid growth of our company is a testament to that process discipline and strong foundation.
Before joining Benz, Isabelle was the founder and creative director at Fox Parlor, the boutique branding and graphic design firm, serving both consumer-facing and business-to-business clients for almost 10 years. She also did her obligatory San Francisco stint as art director of a technology startup.
Born in Sweden, Isabelle completed most of her education there at Lund University. She moved to San Francisco in 1991 and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Social Anthropology from San Francisco State University.
When she’s not working, you can find Isabelle in her craft room, or on the Sierra slopes, skiing in the winter and hiking in the summer.
