“At the heart of great design is strategic creative problem solving. I love tackling the complicated subject of benefits and making it compelling and easy for employees to engage with. Helping people make smarter decisions is a very rewarding end goal.”
As a senior graphic designer, Cat excels at tapping into our clients’ essential characters and producing work that embodies and reinforces their unique identities. Clients applaud her for really “getting” them. Whether she’s spicing up a simple PowerPoint presentation with animations, devising one-of-a-kind print campaigns, or executing branded benefits websites, she adds her signature creative twist to everything she touches.
She is now an integral part of our design arsenal, as well as our lead designer for some of our biggest clients. Cat recently led an internal brand refresh for Intuit, designed the internal benefits brand and collaborated on the benefits website for Hitachi Data Systems, and reimagined a lengthy booklet into a snappy pamphlet with complementary web pages for UC SHIP, University of California’s Student Health Insurance Plan.
Cat joined Benz in 2013 as a design intern after graduating—as the valedictorian, with multiple awards—from UCLA’s School of Arts and Architecture. Her artistic approach to design, along with her talent and hard work, has rocketed her through the Benz ranks.
Cat stays active in many creative communities in San Francisco, drawing inspiration from contemporary art, live jazz, swing dancing, and long bike rides to beautiful places.
