It doesn’t take long for anyone who works with Leslie to notice strategic planning runs in her veins. She brings the same enthusiasm and love for process thinking to employee communication that she brings to most things in life—including an obsession with all things crafty, from jewelry to furniture to greeting cards. Her ability to understand what clients don’t always know they need means she can also paint a clear picture of what success could look like.

Before joining the Benz Communications team, Leslie spent 12 years as an in-house corporate communications manager (and force for good) for such “Fortune-100 Best Companies to Work For” as Intuit and Genentech, where she alchemized delight, creativity, and results from even the most complex communication challenges. Leslie believes there’s never any reason for communications to be dull. After all, to employees, their lives and their jobs are anything but.

A Bay Area native who can’t imagine living anywhere else, Leslie has a BA in Industrial Arts from San Francisco State University. And yes, if you’re ever in the neighborhood, she would love a cup of mint tea.
