November 1, 2011: Institutional Investor Forums Conference Oct 27, 2011

Jennifer Benz will be sitting in on the panel discussion Applying the principles of Nudge to increase your participants’ smart choices at the Metropolitan Club in New York. This panel is presented by the Institutional Investor Forums Conference, “The New Dimensions of Retirement Plans.”

In the book, Nudge, the authors posit the thesis that “by knowing how people think, we can design choice environments that make it easier for people to choose what’s best for themselves, their families, and their society.” This session will assess how key concepts of this book (e.g., “libertarian paternalism,” choice architecture, and decision-making factors) can be applied to structuring employee benefits-related choices for the good of everyone concerned.
