Great article about the future of social media
My good friend and colleague Ravit Lichtenberg just wrote a great article detailing 10 Ways Social Media Will Change in 2009.
The full article is absolutely worth the read. Most important in the HR and benefits space are the ways social media will be even more about the human element of digital interaction and about creating meaning and value in peoples’ lives.
It is worth noting that social media platforms have evolved way beyond the early adopters. Facebook has surpassed 160 million users and all demographics are joining the site, including many women in their 60’s. LinkedIn now spans over 34 million members in 200 countries.
